well i like the concept of this.
You have a good bagground and a good render so you should try to blend them together.
if you are looking for some inspiration feel free to look at the tutorial section. They have some great beginner tutorials there!

a good tip for beginners simple blending is to feather the edges of the render.
If you ctrl click on the render, goto select and inverse, press ctrl alt d, a feather box will pop up change the number to 2, ok the press the small delete.
like i say this is a very simple way to smooth the render and blend in the edges a little.

i don't know.
i don't think the background and the render is a good match..
great concept..but it requires alot of work to get it right ..
may be add some motion blur or something ..to get some flow ?

some gd advice there best thing to do is read some tuts and look at others work but great start cant wait to see more
